The legal relationship between you as a customer and the owner of the apartments “Zum Reichsapfel”, meaning the apartments “Maria Theresia” and “Joseph II”, is governed by the following conditions, which supplement the applicable legal regulations. Each customer accepts these terms and conditions with the booking for him/herself and for his/her fellow travelers.
The booking is made exclusively via the online reservation form. The reservation period will be shown on the booking calendar as marked.
Once the deposit of 50% of the rental fee for the reservation period has been made, the booking is considered as binding. The down payment must be made within two weeks after the reservation. If the down payment is not made, the reservation will be canceled.
The remaining balance of the rental fee must be received on our bank account at least 2 days prior to arrival or be paid in cash after check-in.
If the booking is canceled up to 2 months prior to the arrival date, we will reimburse the deposit minus the fees charged by the bank or Paypal. Up to 2 weeks before arrival, the deposit will be refunded at 50% minus charges; in the case of cancellation within 2 weeks before arrival, the down payment will be forfeited.
Only the persons listed in the reservation form may stay in the apartments.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in both apartments.
Out of respect for other guests, pets are not allowed.
The stay in the apartment and use of its equipment and facilities is at the tenant’s own risk. The landlord and his employees are not liable for any damage to persons or personal belongings that may occur with respect to the tenant, fellow travelers, or any items brought into the apartment.
The tenant is liable for damages caused to apartment inventory during his/her rental period in the apartment. The tenant agrees to report immediately to the landlord any damage which occurs.
Key collection is possible between 4:00 pm and 12:00 pm (except Sundays, Mondays and public holidays, when a separate arrangement is required).
Unless otherwise agreed, check-out time is 12:00 noon at the latest. Upon departure, the apartment must be clean.
In the event that the keys are lost, the tenant will be charged € 150 for replacing the lock and keys.
In the case of tenant non-compliance with regard to the number of apartment occupants, smoking, or pets, the landlord is entitled to dissolve the contract at any time, without reimbursing the rent already paid by the tenant.
Any legal disputes that arise from this contract will be settled exclusively under the jurisdiction of the District Court Leopoldstadt, Vienna.
